Offer Description
The overall goal of this research program is the development of 4D composite structures. The final composites will find application in the biomedical and tissue engineering field. The public call with detailed attendance and selection rules (Art 4 and 6) can be found at: https://pica.cineca.it/unipv/tipologia/idr. The selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a master's degree or single-cycle, degree obtained no more than six years previously are eligible to participate in the selection process. These degrees must be relevant to the subject of the research activity. PhD degree preferably in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or similar (already obtained at the call deadline or to be obtained before 6 months from call deadline); Demonstrated experience in the synthesis/development of functional materials and/or composites across different length scales; Demonstrated experience in the use of materials characterization techniques, such as Raman spectroscopy, NMR, SEM, XRD; Demonstrated experience in the development and/or application of Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and/or functional nanoparticles. Demonstrated experience with additive manufacturing technologies (extrusion-based printing, SLA, DLP). Demonstrated experience with micro- and nanofabrication techniques, such as surface patterning, surface texturing, or lithography.
