In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product, partnerships, and hardware enablement. You will collaborate closely with external manufacturers, module vendors, accessory makers, and ecosystem contributors to expand the universe of high‑quality third‑party products compatible with Arduino. You will travel frequently across key manufacturing and innovation hubs to nurture relationships, evaluate partner capabilities, and bring new ecosystem solutions to life. This is a highly impactful, outward‑facing role for someone who thrives on building global relationships, enabling partners, and shaping a scalable hardware ecosystem. This position can be remote from China or Europe with frequent travel between Asia/Europe.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A mission‑driven culture with diverse and talented international teams
  • Personalized growth paths and a dedicated annual training budget
  • Flexible working hours and a strong focus on work–life balance
  • For office‑based employees: ping‑pong tournaments, happy hours, rooftop lunches, and a creative, welcoming workplace

What You’ll Work On

Shape the Ecosystem Vision

  • Define and execute the roadmap for Arduino’s third‑party hardware ecosystem, supporting accessories, modules, kits, and compatible products
  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and high‑impact areas where ecosystem partners can extend Arduino’s hardware portfolio
  • Develop frameworks and processes that ensure quality, consistency, and great user experiences across third‑party products

Drive Partner Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, OEMs/ODMs, and solution partners globally
  • Evaluate partner capabilities, product proposals, and technical readiness during in‑person visits across key regions
  • Collaborate with partners to guide product definition, quality standards, compatibility requirements, and certification processes
  • Ensure partners have the documentation, tooling, guidance, and support needed to develop successfully within the Arduino ecosystem

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Arduino hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure ecosystem products integrate smoothly
  • Partner with marketing and community teams to promote new ecosystem additions and showcase partner success stories
  • Collaborate with operations and quality teams to support onboarding, compliance, testing, and ongoing partner performance

Ecosystem Lifecycle Management

  • Track ecosystem product performance using user feedback, market insights, and usage data
  • Identify opportunities to expand categories, improve quality, or sunset underperforming ecosystem components
  • Develop processes to scale the ecosystem sustainably as Arduino’s global footprint grows

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Product Management, Partner Management, Business Development, or Hardware Ecosystem roles
  • Strong understanding of hardware development, manufacturing workflows, and product quality processes
  • Experience working with international partners
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) for partner meetings, factory visits, evaluations, and events
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with multicultural, cross‑functional audiences
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and detailed follow‑through
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian and Chinese is a strong plus
