ACADEMIC MATERIALS INTERNSHIP


ROLE MISSION

As part of its commitment to sustainability, SDA Bocconi is implementing the “Paperless Project.”

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to this initiative and will gain hands-on experience with the Ultra and Blackboard platforms.

They will be in regular contact with faculty members and will receive daily support from experienced professionals.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACTIVITIES

The intern will have the chance to contribute across various areas of the function.

A non-exhaustive list of activities they may be involved in includes:

  • Receiving and reviewing syllabi for various courses (Masters, Custom, and Open programs);
  • Preparing lists of course materials with support from the Library and uploading them onto the platform.
  • Each division follows different procedures and methods. We currently use two platforms:
  • Blackboard : uploading the syllabus file and creating the corresponding I-frame; creating a folder for each teaching session (as indicated in the syllabus) and uploading the relevant materials;
  • Ultra : I-frame creation is not required; the rest of the process is similar, with a different method of implementation;
  • Managing materials covered by SDA Bocconi copyright: format checks, possible file conversions, and processing through Didasco (our internal material management platform);
  • Handling supplier invoices: updating tracking files, forwarding documents to Bocconi administration, and archiving;
  • Supporting the SDA Bocconi archive management: once or twice a month, the intern will visit the storage facility with the Tutor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in both Italian and English, supported by academic or work experiences abroad;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to quality, attention to detail, and team spirit;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Forms) and a strong aptitude for new technologies and innovation.



We offer: a 6 months internship, renewable for an additional 6 months.

Allowance of € 1,000 gross per month , company PC and telephone, access to the SDA Bocconi training course platform.


Place of work: SDA Bocconi, via Sarfatti, 10 – 20136 MILAN.
