Domus Academy is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of
Academic Registration and Accreditation Supervisor
Reporting hierarchically to the International Partnerships and Academic Processes Senior Manager, the Academic Registration and Accreditation Supervisor will ensure the delivery of secretarial and back-office support to students and faculty across all course-related activities. He/She will oversee processes related to obtaining and maintaining the accreditation of the Academy and its programmes by MUR and other accrediting bodies. Additionally, the selected candidate will ensure the preparation and/or updating of guidelines and regulations in line with the requirements of MUR, ANVUR, and other accreditation entities. In addition, the supervisor will manage and enhance services related to academic calendars, course scheduling, and classroom/space allocation. The role includes providing full support to faculty, staff, and students in the smooth delivery of academic operations.
The selected candidate will carry out the following activities:
- Oversee administrative and registration activities such as issuing certificates, updating study plans, credit registration, exams, and final examinations.
- Manage updates in the Student Information System (SIS) regarding student records (personal data, study plans, exam results, final grades, etc.) and prepare data reports required for monitoring and managing academic processes.
- Handle student transfers, study suspensions, withdrawals, and internal transfers.
- Manage all activities related to the final exam, including document collection, exam reports, verification, and recording final scores in the SIS.
- Oversee the issuance of certificates, transcripts, diploma supplements, and the collection of all necessary data for ministerial or internal statistics and other accreditation or governmental requirements.
- Ensure the smooth execution of all enrollment and re-enrollment activities.
- Review enrollment forms and ensure effective information exchange between the Admissions and Registration Offices.
- Oversee the collection, verification, registration, and archiving of documents submitted by international students, and follow up on missing documentation.
- Supervise the proper functioning of the Student Information System, including digital records, registers, exam management tools and of the Classroom Management Platform ensuring the correct assignment of academic courses to schedules and classrooms to ensure the activation of online registers.
- Manage scheduling adjustments such as classroom or timetable changes.
- Ensure that notifications and communications are properly sent to students and faculty members.
- Support effective communication with MUR, ANVUR, and other accreditation bodies.
- Ensure proper recording of official communications and documentation ("Protocollo") and manage procedures for submitting data and information to relevant authorities, including annual statistics and new accreditation processes.
- Assist in the preparation and updating of internal regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with MUR, ANVUR, other accreditation bodies’ requirements.
- Ensure the monitoring of KPIs defined by the Executive Leadership. In particular, plans and oversee all phases of the administration of student and faculty satisfaction surveys, including scheduling, monitoring data collection, and producing final reports.
Requirements:
BA or MA degree in Education, Public Administration, Humanities, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in higher education or regulated environments
Good knowledge of Italian higher education regulations and accreditation standards (MUR, ANVUR); previous experience in accreditation processes is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (min. B2 level; C1 preferred)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex workflows and deadlines
Problem-solving mindset and sound decision-making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude
Customer-oriented approach, with a strong focus on service to students, faculty, and staff
Familiarity with academic calendars, course scheduling, and space management is a plus
