Account Director, Italy/Iberia

In this role you will lead the Italian/Spanish/Portuguese IT/IB Account Management team within the Continental Europe Leadership group, shaping strategy and delivering insights for customers. You will drive revenue, retention, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to voice the customer and align propositions with sales readiness. Your leadership will cultivate senior client relationships and foster a high-performing, inclusive team focused on growth and market impact. • Provide strategic and operational leadership to Account Managers covering buy side, sell side, and corporate clients to meet sales, revenue, retention, and organizational objectives
• Ensure execution of sales initiatives to meet key financial metrics
• Lead in-depth account, territory, and opportunity planning using LSEG's sales methodology
• Forecast sales and revenue to support the Market Head
• Drive organizational objectives to support LSEG strategy
• Develop and nurture relationships with senior client contacts
• Influence product/division strategy and contribute to overall market success
• Design and implement sales strategies to increase market share and sustainable revenue growth
• Hold Senior leadership responsibility for a portion of the Continental Europe Market and participate in LT decisions
• Coach and mentor team to higher performance; build a diverse, inclusive talent pipeline
• Proactively identify and solve complex business problems that affect management and direction
• Good understanding of the financial services industry
• Deep understanding of local market dynamics and ability to tailor go-to-market strategies
• Experience with data vendors and/or client-side environments
• Strong people leadership experience in fast-paced, remote/multi-cultural settings
