Key Account Manager – FMCG (Italian Market)
Location: Milan (office) + Northern Italy
Reporting line: Company headquarters
Overview
Position Overview
Due to the development of our business on the Italian market, we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth of FMCG products across different distribution channels in Italy, with a strong focus on Northern Italy .
The person in this role will manage a portfolio of mineral waters (core category) as well as beer , working in close cooperation with the company’s headquarters outside Italy.
Responsibilities
- Developing sales and managing key accounts across:
- Modern Trade (GDO)
- Traditional Trade
- HoReCa
- Building and expanding the distribution network on the Italian market
- Conducting commercial negotiations (pricing, trade terms, promotions)
- Acquiring new business partners and distributors
- Monitoring the market, competitors and sales potential
- Delivering sales targets and reporting results
- Regular reporting to the headquarters (in English or Polish)
- Close cooperation with marketing and logistics teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the FMCG sector
- Experience in beer sales or other beverages will be a strong asset
- In-depth knowledge of modern trade, traditional trade and HoReCa channels
- High level of independence and ownership in daily work
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term business relationships
- Fluency in English or Polish , enabling smooth reporting to HQ
- University degree (economics, sales, management, marketing or related fields preferred)
- Willingness to travel frequently across Northern Italy
