We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Italian Finance Department. In this role, you will work closely with the Italian Head of Finance, providing essential support to daily operations and contributing to the digital transformation of our accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow within a structured international environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Expense Management: Review and process employee travel expenses, ensuring full compliance with both internal company policies and Italian tax regulations.
- ERP Support & Migration: Assist in the SAP implementation phase, performing data validation, cleansing, and system testing.
- Reconciliations: Perform periodic bank and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- General Ledger Support: Support the team in daily accounting activities and month-end closing procedures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as an internal administrative point of contact for other departments, facilitating smooth communication and information flow.
Professional Experience and Skills
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or administration.
- Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, or a Diploma in Accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Mindset: We are looking for an hard-working individual with a strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and a natural ability to meet strict deadlines with high accuracy.
