The Role

Tamura Magnetic Engineering, part of Tamura Group, is looking for a motivated and experienced Business Controller & Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with 5–7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and controlling activities who is eager to contribute to the success of a global organization.

The successful candidate will support the Finance Department in ensuring accurate financial reporting, business performance monitoring, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, management accounts, and KPI dashboards.
  • Monitor budget performance, cost control activities, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Support cash flow monitoring and working capital management.
  • Maintain accounting records and ensure the accuracy of general ledger transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and local authorities when required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Provide financial analysis and business insights to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with local and international teams across the Tamura Group.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within finance and administration functions.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or similar positions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in an international manufacturing environment will be considered an advantage.
