Administrative Manager

Role

Philogen S.p.A. is hiring an Administrative Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting and reporting activities for a subsidiary within a listed group. In this role, you will be part of the Administration & Finance function and partner closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure accurate transactions, strong controls, and timely month-end and year-end close.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day general ledger activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of postings.
• Record, review, and reconcile accounting and financial transactions.
• Support statutory financial statements preparation and periodic reporting (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
• Contribute to efficient and predictable closing processes, including documentation and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and other group functions when needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data quality through digital tools and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or university degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within structured organizations, corporate groups, or regulated environments.
• Strong command of Italian and English; German is a plus.
• Confident user of common IT tools (Excel/ERP/accounting software); comfort with process-driven environments is valued.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative, with the ability to prioritize during closing cycles.
