Responsibilities:
- Administer student and/or staff reports for school administration through an automated system.
- Serve as the official records manager for the school.
- Manage facility programs to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.
- Maintain forms, processes, and other appropriate documentation.
- Maintain the student information management database for all students.
Requirements:
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- One-year trial or probationary period may be required.
- One-year supervisory probation period may be required.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks due to interaction with children and youth under 18.
- Submission of a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) upon entry and annually thereafter.
- Potential requirement to sign a transportation agreement.
- Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their family members (US citizens) must obtain Official Passports prior to overseas deployment.
- Individuals assigned to Italy, England, or Korea are required to obtain visas for these countries.
Qualifications:
- Specialized Experience: One year of experience managing an annual budget, utilizing information systems to gather data, and advising employees on administrative matters (typical of the next lower grade in federal service, GS-09).
- Education: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years of progressively higher graduate education in fields like Public Administration or Business Administration.
- Combination of Education and Experience: May be used to qualify if at least 100% of the requirements are met, calculated by dividing months of experience and graduate hours accordingly.
Additional Information:
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program.
- Medical needs of family members should be considered, especially for overseas assignments where care access varies.
- Employees are responsible for their own medical and dental care costs abroad.
- Initial overseas tour is 36 months.
- This position is not covered by a bargaining unit.
- Priority Placement Program (PPP) preference may be claimed.
