Offer Description
The research program aims to develop and validate advanced methodologies for the dynamic analysis of transmission systems and rotors. The activities will address the formulation of speed-dependent matrices and the assessment of modal reduction techniques against full finite element models. Methods will be developed for forced response analysis under imposed displacements, moving constraints, and harmonic stiffness variations. Structural nonlinearities, including nonlinear stiffness, clearances, and contact effects, will also be considered. The methodologies will be applied to rotating systems affected by gyroscopic effects, spin softening, and stress stiffening. Both timedomain and frequency-domain solution approaches will be adopted, together with automated procedures for analyses over a range of rotational speeds. OTHER Eligibility of fellows: country/ies of residence: OTHER Eligibility of fellows: nationality/ies:
