To support the growth of an international Motorcycle motorsport engineering organization, we are currently looking for an
Aerodynamic Engineer The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of vehicle aerodynamic performance through advanced testing methodologies, data analysis, and model validation activities. This position is particularly suited to engineers with hands‑on experience in aerodynamic testing environments who are passionate about vehicle performance and eager to bridge the gap between experimental data and simulation accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and analyze aerodynamic test activities on motorcycles in both controlled and outdoor environments.
Support aerodynamic development programs through wind tunnel, proving ground, and on-track testing activities.
Define vehicle setup configurations and testing procedures to ensure reliable and repeatable results.
Collect, process, and interpret aerodynamic and vehicle dynamics data from test campaigns.
Contribute to the validation, correlation, and continuous improvement of aerodynamic simulation models.
Review and optimize simulation model architecture to enhance predictive accuracy.
Collaborate closely with vehicle dynamics, design, and simulation teams to support product development.
Prepare technical reports and communicate test results to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Support the development of innovative testing methodologies and data analysis techniques.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
2 to 4 years of experience in Aerodynamics Engineering or a closely related field.
Practical experience in aerodynamic testing activities is strongly preferred over purely simulation‑focused roles.
Experience with wind tunnel testing, proving grounds, or outdoor vehicle testing activities.
Knowledge of vehicle setup procedures and test data acquisition and analysis methodologies.
Understanding of fluid dynamics and aerodynamic behaviour of high-performance vehicles.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of experimental aerodynamic methodologies and test validation techniques.
Experience with data analysis and interpretation of aerodynamic measurements.
Familiarity with simulation model correlation and validation processes.
Knowledge of CFD tools is desirable.
Experience with
ANSYS Fluent
is considered an advantage.
Soft Skills
Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive approach and willingness to travel for testing and development activities.
