Your role

At Edwards Spa , part of the Vacuum Technique Service division within the General Vacuum Customer Centre , we are looking for an Internal Sales Specialist to drive the sales of spare parts and service products across a broad portfolio of vacuum pumps.

This role supports the Europe South and Africa markets , contributing to business development, actively participating in marketing campaigns, and promoting our service offering in close collaboration with the external sales team.

Based in Italy, near Avezzano (AQ) , this position requires fluency in Italian and French .

As Inside Sales Specialist, you will take ownership of the spares and lubricant business , playing a key role in driving aftersales growth and strengthening customer engagement across the region.

The Main Responsibilities Will Be

  • Engage directly with customers to promote aftersales solutions, preparing and delivering quotations tailored to their needs using provided sales tools
  • Manage and update sales activities in the CRM, building an accurate sales funnel and proactively following up on opportunities to improve win rates
  • Develop strong relationships within existing accounts to enhance customer loyalty and identify new business opportunities early
  • Act as the main point of contact for resellers and distributors purchasing spares, lubricants, and service products
  • Proactively reach out to prospective customers through outbound calls, promoting our products and re‑engaging inactive or lost customers
  • Identify and qualify new leads via multiple channels (cold calling, website enquiries, inbound requests, etc.)
  • Actively support and participate in marketing campaigns, promoting products, events, and customer initiatives

To succeed, you will need

  • Technical diploma or degree, or equivalent experience in an internal sales or customer‑facing commercial role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey value propositions
  • Proven ability to build strong, trust‑based relationships with customers at all levels
  • Good command of English, as it is the working language across the group
  • Knowledge of an additional language (French or Spanish) is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, combining office presence with remote (smart working)

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at our Edwards Spa in Avezzano, Italy (IT).
