Experteer Overview
As AI & Data Governance and Trust Manager, you serve as the operational backbone for responsible AI and data management within MSX’s AI & Data Center of Excellence. You’ll build and run governance structures to ensure trust, transparency, and accountability across the data lifecycle, aligning with regulatory and enterprise risk frameworks. You collaborate with solutions architects and transformation leads to embed guardrails in technical patterns and data culture. Your work enables compliant, auditable AI and data initiatives that reduce risk and improve data quality. This role offers a mission-driven chance to shape governance at scale in the mobility industry.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the AI Risk Registry and risk-tier classification (EU AI Act alignment)
- Define approval workflows, documentation, and lifecycle checkpoints for AI initiatives
- Monitor AI model performance for drift, fairness, and compliance post-deployment
- Be the primary point of contact for AI regulatory inquiries and audits
- Conduct AI ethics and bias assessments with technical teams
- Operationalize the Data Governance Council, including agenda setting and stakeholder coordination
- Define Critical Data Element (CDE) definitions, ownership, and quality baselines
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) pilot initiatives with governance frameworks
- Define governance requirements for metadata, cataloging, and data quality tooling; partner with IT on ownership and operations
- Establish data retention, archival, and disposal policies aligned with GDPR and compliance standards
- Collaborate with IT and Security on data access controls, encryption, and audit trails
- Draft, review, and maintain AI and Data policies, standards, and procedures for regulatory compliance
- Conduct compliance gap assessments and remediation plans
- Provide governance training and maintain a knowledge base for transparency and audits
- Partner with Solutions Architects to validate designs meet governance requirements
- Embed governance in capability-building programs and community initiatives
- Collaborate with Legal and Information Security on risk and regulatory obligations
- Support value streams with advisory for AI and Data governance
- Engage with external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies as subject matter expert
- Achieve governance frameworks adopted across AI and data initiatives
- Provide audit-ready compliance evidence and risk posture
- Reduce delivery friction with clear decision rights and guardrails
- Improve data quality for Critical Data Elements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration (advanced degrees in Ethics, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance valued)
- 5+ years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Risk with experience operationalizing governance frameworks
