Finance & Administration SpecialistWould you like to join a young, innovative, and rapidly growing company?Bikeflip, the leading European marketplace for buying and selling bicycles, is looking for a Finance & Administration Specialist to join its Finance, Administration, and Controlling team.We are seeking a precise, organized, and reliable person who can manage the company’s day-to-day administrative activities while supporting management in financial operations, planning, and business analysis.This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in administration and accounting, who is curious, proactive, and interested in growing into more analytical and strategic responsibilities, such as management control, business planning, reporting, and investor-related documentation.The successful candidate will work closely with management, external accountants, and consultants, with the goal of becoming a key internal reference for administrative and financial operations over time.Please note: this position does not include HR or personnel management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the company’s accounting and day-to-day administrative activitiesReviewing, filing, and organizing administrative and accounting documentationHandling administrative back-office tasksSupporting accounting entries and the maintenance of general accounting recordsManaging accounts receivable and accounts payable processesReviewing and processing supplier invoices and paymentsMonitoring collections, payments, due dates, and cash flowsPerforming bank reconciliations and reviewing accounting transactionsActing as the operational point of contact with accountants, consultants, and suppliersSupporting the preparation of internal financial statements and periodic financial reportsAssisting with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesSupporting management control, cost analysis, and monitoring of key financial KPIsAssisting in the preparation and updating of business plans and financial modelsSupporting the preparation of documentation and materials for investors, banks, and external stakeholdersContributing to the improvement and organization of internal administrative and financial processesRequired QualificationsDegree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldPrevious experience, even limited, in administration, accounting, or financeKnowledge of general accounting principles and administrative proceduresGood proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsAccuracy, reliability, and strong attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesAnalytical mindset and interest in financial managementAbility to work independently and interact effectively with external consultants and managementGood command of EnglishPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in startups, digital businesses, or fast-growing environmentsFamiliarity with budgeting, forecasting, or management control activitiesAbility to analyze and interpret financial and economic dataExperience preparing reports, business plans, or investor presentations/documentsKnowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, or business intelligence toolsWho We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a practical, organized, and proactive person who can manage daily administrative activities with precision while contributing to the company’s growth.We are not seeking someone focused exclusively on bookkeeping or administrative support.
