Responsibilities

• Define and maintain API governance guidelines, ensuring consistency, standardisation, and quality across the design and evolution of the organization’s APIs.
• Configure and manage the API Management platform, including service onboarding, API asset definition, flow configuration and catalog publication.
• Administer and govern cross‑cutting policies related to security, authentication, authorisation, rate limiting, throttling and API traffic monitoring, ensuring performance, data protection, and compliance.
• Define and apply API versioning strategies, ensuring structured lifecycle management, service continuity, and orderly deprecation of older versions.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience with micro‑services architectures for cloud‑native applications and event‑driven architectures.
• Extensive experience in system design, application architecture and API design principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with solid experience using Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more API Gateway tools.
• Proven experience in the effective use of artificial intelligence models.
