Application Engineer

Pramac, part of the third group in the world in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for an Application Engineer to be included in its Headquarter Team - and main plant of the Group - Casole D'Elsa, Siena (Italy).

Purpose

• Talk to customers/subsidiaries and understand project requirements
• Inform customers and internal sales about the best solutions dedicated to the project
• Support for the Pre-Sales activity
• Preliminary engineering and pricing
• Cross-functional support for the project
• Product placement within the project specifications

Key Responsibilities

• Feasibility analysis request for estimate
• Estimated estimated costs
• Drafting estimates
• Ensure that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each offer are discussed with the various departments
• Manage all aspects of the bidding process to ensure deadlines are met
• Development of the prescription activity of our products

Main Activities

• Feasibility analysis of requests for offers
• Develop business proposals in a professional way following company standards
• Support the bid process and management
• Support the sales network in technical discussions with customers
• Elaboration of the forecast cost statement for the realization of the contract
• Telephone contacts with suppliers for requests for offers for specific material
• Telephone contacts with the HQ or foreign customers for the realization of the estimate

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent knowledge of the Office package
• Excellent knowledge of English
• High technical knowledge of the product
• Good knowledge of the principles of Project Management
• Communication and relational skills
• Problem Solving and Team Work Skills

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
• Precision and attention to detail
