Overview
Application Specialist (1st Line) provides operational, application and quality control support to customers across the South region of Italy (including Sicily). The role includes user training, troubleshooting, system installations and quality‐related activities.
Responsibilities
- Support customers in South region of Italy through user training, troubleshooting, system installations and quality‑related activities.
- Ensure Sakura solutions are used correctly and according to procedures.
- Work independently on non‑complex projects, including some activities within the North of Italy, following Sakura’s way of working.
- Apply a structured and well‑considered approach where required.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Laboratory Sciences or equivalent background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in histopathology is strongly recommended.
- Strong training and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Hands‑on, practical mentality with high customer focus.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, cross‑country teams.
- Fluency in Italian language and proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Valid EU work visa.
