Area Manager Italy - 100% home office position, residing in Italy (preferably in the center or north)
A company specializing in flavors and ingredients for the food industry is seeking a professional for the export department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define sales objectives for their area together with the Export Director, and ensure they are met
- Visit clients to assess their current and future needs, proposing adaptations and developments
- Provide technical advice on products based on identified needs
- Maintain direct relationships with clients, negotiating proposal terms (prices, deadlines, etc.)
- Develop medium and long-term commercial strategies with a limited number of key clients, mainly food and beverage manufacturers
- Prospect new clients and promote the company’s products
- Maintain continuous communication with technical departments for proper project management
Occasional or Periodic Duties:
- Participation in trade shows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Other languages: English at a business negotiation level
- Technical knowledge of the company’s products
- Understanding of the Italian food and beverage market
