Job Description Summary

As an Asset Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliant and effective operation of renewable energy assets, with a primary focus on projects in the operational phase. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to support technical, commercial and financial processes, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements and contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Authorities

  • Maintain and regularly update the permits tracker, obligations register, and complete document archive for each asset, ensuring full regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Support the governance of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), coordinating with local communities, landowners and public authorities, including corporate secretarial support and coordination with project partners for technical and financial periodic reporting.
  • Manage project onboarding activities, including the set‑up and ownership of the SharePoint document repository and related reporting.
  • Support OPEX control and budgeting processes, overseeing business‑related PRs and POs to ensure full compliance with company policies and internal approval procedures.
  • Manage and support relationships with insurance brokers, including claim assessment, follow‑up and coordination throughout the claims handling process.
  • Support the management of service contracts and ensure the correct execution of contractual obligations and warranties, in close collaboration with other COO functions (IT, HSQE, Asset Maintenance, and Asset Performance).
  • Collaborate with the Planning & Control (P&C) function to support commercial asset management and accounting processes, including administrative activities, invoicing, intercompany reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closings, accruals and cash collection.
  • Contribute to the preparation and support of quarterly reporting in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.

Financial and Audit Support

  • Liaise with and support local accounting advisors during the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Assist external audit firms during semi‑annual and annual audit processes, providing documentation and operational support as required.
  • Act as a backup for other Asset Compliance Managers when needed, ensuring continuity of asset management activities.

HSQE Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold effective HSQE standards across the portfolio.

Technical and Cross Competences

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewables energy business.
  • In depth understanding of the O&M activities performed on site and related QHSE duties, wind and PV.
  • Excellent knowledge of the energy market dynamics, local national regulatory framework and permitting processes.
  • Relevant knowledge of complex ERP, with prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, highly valued.
  • Advanced IT skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
  • Proper understanding of accounting and financial rules and principles, including IFRS.
  • Familiarity with general tax rules and knowledge of basic cash management are considered a plus.

Education And Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy or similar). Additional education or exposure to economics, finance or asset management is a plus.

Travel Requirements

Travel to and from site across Italy is required. Required to attend team/contractor meetings if needed or to participate during operation phase activities.
