Assistant F&B Manager – Luxury Resort Operations

A privately managed luxury resort in Northern Italy is looking for an Assistant F&B Manager to join its operational management team.

This is not an administrative office role. The position is designed for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys being close to the operation, the guests and the team, and who is ready to grow into a broader F&B leadership role over time.

The resort operates several F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars and seasonal concepts, and offers a dynamic environment with high service standards, international guests and a strong focus on quality, organisation and guest satisfaction.

The Assistant F&B Manager will support the F&B Manager and the operational leadership team in the daily management of the F&B department.

Key responsibilities include:

• supporting the daily operation of restaurants, bars and events
• ensuring service standards are respected across the outlets
• coordinating with restaurant managers, supervisors, kitchen and stewarding
• being present on the floor during key service times
• supporting staff briefings, training and quality control
• helping to organise shifts, service flows and operational priorities
• monitoring guest feedback and reacting quickly to operational issues
• supporting cost awareness, stock discipline and internal procedures
• contributing to the development of a professional, motivated and structured F&B team

We are looking for a candidate who already has solid operational experience in hospitality and wants to take the next step.

The ideal profile has:

• experience in F&B operations in a hotel, resort or quality restaurant environment
• previous experience as F&B Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Maître or similar
• a strong presence on the floor and a genuine passion for service
• good organisational skills and attention to detail
• leadership potential and the ability to motivate a team
• a hands-on attitude and flexibility during busy operational periods
• good communication skills in English; German and/or Italian are a strong advantage
• a professional appearance and a guest-oriented mindset
