Position Overview
Abilene Christian University (ACU) is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree. ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ and requires applicants to be professing Christians, active, faithful members of a congregation of the Churches of Christ and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
Responsibilities
General duties include teaching a variety of Kinesiology courses, mentoring undergraduate students, and nurturing experiential learning and interprofessional education. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality education of undergraduate Kinesiology students through excellent teaching within the classroom and in the laboratory while fostering a Christ‑centered environment.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree required.
- 9‑month full‑time tenure‑track position beginning August 9, 2026.
- Applicant must be a professing Christian, active, faithful member of a congregation of the Churches of Christ, and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
