Associate Counsel

We are looking for an Associate Counsel (Employment Law) with a focus on Italy and Spain to join our growing Legal team in EMEA. This is a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft complex and general employment law agreements (including confidentiality, IP rights, non-solicitation, bonus arrangements) with a main focus on Italy and Spain. Work closely with departments to manage compliance, legal exposure, and risk, providing legal support and advice.
• Assist with maintaining local entities in the focus countries and across EMEA, providing legal guidance on projects related to international employment matters based on legislative or regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate activities of outside counsels in different countries.
• Perform other key duties as required by the General Counsel (EMEA).

Qualifications / Skills

• Proficiency in English is required; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Experience handling multiple cases simultaneously, with quick turnaround and project management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• High integrity and professional ethics.
• Experience with Employer of Record (EoR) is a plus.
• Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing various tasks and challenges.
• Masters / Law degree from a European university focusing on employment law, preferably obtained in Italy or Spain.
