The Roles And Responsibilities Of This Job Include

  • Supports in various aspects of transaction preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting filings, and other related documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements
  • Assists in developing transaction strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers
  • Supports in due diligence process by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, contracts and other relevant documents
  • Coordinates various aspects of transaction processes, manages timelines, and ensures that all necessary steps are completed efficiently
  • Manages case files, organizing case materials and ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met
  • Works towards development of transaction legal skills and expertise in the field
  • May co‑ordinate work of more junior members of the team
  • Helps coach and develop more junior lawyers
  • Solid experience in a specialized area of law, typically with 3–5 years of practice post‑qualification
  • Experience handling complex legal tasks and contributing to the resolution of key legal matters
  • Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
