Lead Automation and Robotics Engineer Job Description Summary
Activities mainly contribute to the design execution and development of automation and robotics projects. The role includes also tasks linked to technical continuous improvement of existing processes with a focus on efficiency, design for manufacturing, and standardization. Responsibilities
Manage robotics and automation projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Conduct thorough technical and cost feasibility analyses for proposed projects. Assess potential benefits and risks associated with each project. Liaise with suppliers from the bidding phase through to project realization and testing, ensuring suppliers meet quality and delivery standards. Work closely with factory operators to develop practical and efficient automation solutions that align with operational needs and enhance productivity. Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth project execution. Qualifications
Automation Engineering degree with proven professional experience or equivalent experience. Specific knowledge of CAD and 3D software (e.g., AutoCAD, PTC Creo). Programming language experience (e.g., C++, Python). Fluent English. Preferred: experience with PLC programming and robotic systems. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Salary & Benefits
Salary range: €43,800 – €65,700 gross per annum, based on education, qualifications, experience and skill set.
