Job Title and Location

B1 / B1+B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Italy (Rome / Flexible Base)


Role Summary

We are seeking experienced B1 or B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join a leading aviation maintenance organisation in Italy. You will support line and/or base maintenance across a modern Airbus and Boeing fleet, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
  • Perform troubleshooting and defect rectification
  • Carry out line and/or base maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations
  • Complete accurate maintenance records and technical documentation
  • Support AOG recovery and aircraft-on-ground situations
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance


Required Qualifications

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B1 or B1/B2 Licence
  • Minimum two aircraft type ratings (e.g. A220, A320 Family, A350, B787)
  • Recent certifying experience on commercial aircraft
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements
  • Good level of English


Preferred Qualifications

  • Combined B1/B2 licence privileges
  • Experience in both line and base maintenance
  • Multiple active type approvals
  • Previous airline maintenance experience
  • Flexibility for shift work, including nights


Permanent opportunity offering a salary circa €60,000 (DOE), flexible base across Italy (Rome preferred), shift patterns, and potential support with accommodation and travel while working on both narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
