With over 38,000 companies using a Trainline Business Account across the UK and Europe, we are focused on attracting new customers and encouraging repeat usage. We have a new opportunity for a B2B Customer Acquisition Leader to join our Growth team as we scale and expand into new markets globally.

The role involves leading a cross-functional team to increase awareness and lead generation for Trainline Business. You will own the marketing strategy, work with our Growth Marketing, Communications, and Brand teams, and be responsible for delivering on OKRs. This position is ideal for an experienced B2B growth marketer seeking a leadership role or looking to broaden their skillset.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead a cross-channel mission focused on acquiring new B2B customers, owning strategy and execution, and tracking progress against OKRs.
  2. Collaborate with other Growth Mission leads to develop upsell strategies and market activation plans, including paid digital campaigns.
  3. Leverage paid channels to increase marketing awareness among B2B target audiences.
  4. Create value-led content marketing using data, audience segmentation, and travel insights to build awareness and convert SMEs.
  5. Manage the Trainline Business microsite and LinkedIn properties as part of the acquisition channels.
  6. Oversee the customer lifecycle from registration to active usage and repeat engagement.
  7. Build and manage a hypothesis backlog based on insights, analytics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
  8. Improve organic search performance through SEO reviews, landing page updates, and collaboration with Product, SEO, and Engineering teams.
  9. Develop scalable content acquisition strategies in partnership with the brand team, utilizing paid, owned, and earned channels.
  10. Collaborate across Data, Marketing, and Product teams to optimize customer experience and content/UX strategies.
  11. Support senior leadership with performance reports, strategy updates, and development plans.
  12. Continuously update knowledge of new technologies and techniques to enhance customer acquisition and conversion rates.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Expertise in leveraging LinkedIn for B2B marketing.
  • Proven success in planning and executing customer acquisition strategies with clear KPIs and success metrics.
