Backend Developer (Go / Python – Junior or Senior)

Location: Hybrid – 2/3 days/week in Rome (EU time zones preferred)

RAL: €30K – €50K, based on experience

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Go and Python
• Build robust APIs and event-driven services based on DDD principles
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend teams (React Native / React)
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code
• Contribute to our roadmap in a lean and agile environment
• Help power a platform used by millions of travelers worldwide

What We're Looking For

Whether you're early in your backend journey or already a senior, we value:

• experience with Go and/or Python
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, system performance, and clean architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
• Comfortable with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Bonus: Experience with DDD, event-driven systems, or Kafka/SQS
