BI Production Monitoring Engineer

Posizione

Within the OneVision BI Global Data Ops Team and under its governance, the BI Production Monitoring engineer will develop tools and monitor all Production applications. The candidate should have a background working with large data volumes BI Applications. The position requires analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Responsabilità principali

• Help to design and implement new monitoring tools and strategies to early identify issues.
• Ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Help to develop, follow up and maintain documentation related to recovery procedures.
• Monitor and analyse system performance data to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in the validation and planning of deployments in production.
• Maintain a set of criteria and standard for production jobs.

Responsabilità aggiuntive

• Provide regular reports to team leader on the production environment.
• Identify run improvement opportunities of BI solutions.

Requisiti

General

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence (R)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Monitoring (R)
• Good Knowledge of the full BI stack (R)
• Experience in Agile methodology (P)
• Experience in the maritime shipping industry (P)

Technical

• Good Knowledge of SQL Server Database (R)
• Experience in Microsoft BI Suite (R)
• Experience in Power BI dashboard development (P)
• Good Knowledge of an ETL Tool (P)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies (P)
• Experience using Data Dog (P)
• Other BI technical Skills (SSAS cube, Power BI, …) (P)

Lingua

• Fluency in Italian (oral and written) (P)
• Fluency in English (oral and written) (R)
• Fluency in French (oral and written) (P)
