Job Description

• Support the Layout & Piping Engineering Manager by developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Ensure BIM rules are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead BIM meetings and provide training for colleagues.
• Assist Layout & Piping Engineers with subcontractor models and data exchanges.
• Maintain systematic storage of project information.
• Conduct regular quality control audits on BIM models and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree; BIM certification in Italy is an advantage.
• 3+ years experience in a similar role within plants, energy, oil & gas, or comparable environments.
• Proficient with BIM coordination platforms and tools such as Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Familiar with key BIM standards: ISO 19650 series, BS 1192, PAS 1192 series, Italian BIM standards UNI 11337, and building SMART/COBie.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong presentation, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
