Experteer Overview

In this role you drive institutional client opportunities within Italy’s pension funds and retirement schemes, combining deep market knowledge with a strong C-level network. You will lead cross-functional commercial efforts, develop a high-value opportunity portfolio, and maintain a visible Rome presence to secure senior-level engagements. You shape BNP Paribas Group’s market positioning through proactive relationship management and strategic insight. This is a senior, impact-driven position focused on revenue growth and market leadership in the Italian pensions landscape.

• Build and nurture relationships with C-level figures in target pension fund and retirement scheme institutions
• Leverage an established Italian pension/retirement network to accelerate credibility and business development
• Represent the bank at institutional events with a Rome-centric focus
• Collaborate with industry associations and legal advisors to create interacting frameworks with Bank leadership
• Develop strategies to manage relationships with top stakeholders and ensure timely communication
• Identify value-added Securities Services opportunities and maintain a prospect pipeline aligned with regional strategy
• Maintain and update the CRM with prospects, opportunities, and visits; develop account plans per prospect
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure bid quality, profitability, and compliance

Responsabilità

• 8+ years of experience in pension funds and retirement schemes
• Existing network of relationships at Chairman/Director General level in Italy’s pension market
• Strong track record in senior-level relationship management and sales leadership
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end sales processes including RFPs and risk procedures
• Fluency in English and Italian; deep knowledge of securities services and pension fund ecosystem
