Future Electronics is seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations in Padua, Italy.

Job Purpose

The Branch Manager will recruit, train, develop, and retain a sales team, ensuring attainment of sales budgets and maintenance of high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales personnel to achieve monthly and annual sales budgets.
  • Manage branch metrics and activities to meet corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and measure sales activities, implementing changes when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Country Manager / Regional Sales Director on annual sales budgets.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of expenses within the branch.
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new staff.
  • Conduct annual and bi‑annual appraisals for direct reports.
  • Hold regular branch meetings to review objectives and performance.
  • Support training of sales executives, key account managers, and area sales managers.
  • Maintain links with technical sales and supplier development personnel.
  • Perform account reviews to focus on high‑growth potential accounts.
  • Develop working relationships with internal customers (technical, marketing, credit).
  • Maintain high‑level customer service and strategic supplier relationships.
  • Perform additional projects or duties as management requires.

Qualifications

  • Over 3 years of experience in electronics sales with people‑management responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercially astute, highly organized, and self‑motivated.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the electronics distribution industry.
  • Strategic thinker capable of handling tactical operational issues.
  • Clear service ethic and leads by example.
  • IT literate and open to learning new software and systems.
