Budget Controller

Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Budget Management and Controlling within digital and data-driven environments. The resource will be responsible for cost monitoring and for supporting the economic planning of initiatives in the digital domain, collaborating closely with operational and finance teams.

Job type: Contract

Contract Length: 3 monts + extensions

Rate: €140 - €160

Role Location: Rome

Responsibilities

• Manage the budget for digital and data-related initiatives
• Continuously monitor costs, forecast, and budget vs actual variances
• Produce regular reporting and variance analysis
• Extract and validate actuals from SAP
• Support project teams with accurate cost allocation and forecasting
• Act as a point of contact with Finance and PMO for periodic alignment

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Controlling, Budgeting, or Cost Monitoring
• Strong understanding of Budget Tracking, Cost Control, and Forecasting
• Good knowledge of SAP for data extraction and reconciliation
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
