Scope of the position:
The Budgeting & Reporting Specialist provides a range of quality financial management services, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting and supporting the development of strategies to strengthen financial management capability for the allocated areas as determined by the business need.
To be a part of the European Companies Controlling Team and collaborate strictly with Budgeting & Reporting Team supporting the Budget process, monitoring activity dealing with all other business functions: Other AFC offices, Production, Commercial, Supply Chain, Procurement
To collaborate proactively with Holding Controlling and Plant Controller offices.
Highlights of Key Responsibilities:
- to check the correctness and accuracy of the monthly Financial Statements, all economic and technical indicators for European companies fulfilling due dates, instructions and format required by the Holding;
- to contribute in preparation of the reporting package for consolidating purposes on monthly basis fulfilling the SAP holding system for the European companies;
- to enter in the costs and working capital structure, understanding main influencing factors in order to understand potential saving or improvement rooms. Prepare all relevant reports to provide to the holding;
- to contribute to periodic budget closures, collecting information, projecting PL and WC figures carrying out checks and dealing with all other Business Functions.
- to support the recurring and spot needs of internal management and eventual special projects (i.e. antidumping, raw material management implementation, slow moving analysis…).
Education:
- University Degree in Economics
Experience:
- at least 3 years of previous working experience, audit companies experience is an added value
- significant and proven expertise working in data analysis and reporting functions
- skills and experience working in industrial sectors give a real preference
- experience of work in multi-site/multi-office company and in collaboration with Holding structures are an advantage
Competencies: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- skills of accounting, IFRS
- good command of MS Office is a must (experience with Databases, including developments for MS Access are preferred)
- high-level of knowledge and practice with Excel
- knowledge of AS400/SAP B1/SAP BPC is an added value
- fluent English
- inclination to teamwork
- curiosity, attention to details and a critical thinking
- strong analytical ability and stable attitude
- good communication skills in a multicultural environment
- good adaptability and dynamism to face challenging situation
- ability to understand and identify priorities in order to fulfill deadlines and ensuring an excellent quality level in the tasks performed
- availability for short trips in Italy
