We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Business Analyst with deep expertise in accounting and financial data management to join our SimpliFi Data Pool team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our data pool aligns with strategic objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Define and document business requirements related to accounting and financial data management, ensuring alignment with group-wide target architecture.
2. Analyze requirements to recommend solutions to complex problems, harmonizing processes.
3. Work closely with data engineers, Power BI developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are effectively implemented.
4. Maintain and update documentation related to business analysis processes and project deliverables.
5. Coordinate with various stakeholders in development, architecture, rollout, and operations teams, as well as with customers, for releases, upgrades, and changes.
6. Support testing and training activities, ensuring user acceptance and quality standards are met.
7. Document, maintain, and optimize processes and configurations related to the environments, applying analytical thinking and methodological skills.

What You'll Bring Along

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on accounting and financial data management.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting processes, financial data management, and regulatory requirements, with experience in the insurance industry advantageous.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
6. Proven experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
7. Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization concepts is a plus.
8. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is desirable.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
