Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. You will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.
The Role You Will Play :
- Strategic Vision: Lead Retex’s growth by securing new business opportunities and positioning Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication, fostering opportunities across our offerings.
- Industry Expertise: Analyze industries, create research, monitor trends, and conduct audits in coordination with relevant directors to ensure industry-leading solutions.
- Client-Centric Approach: Promote our products and services by addressing clients’ objectives, developing tailored value propositions, and building rapport through a consultative approach.
- Sales Excellence: Develop sales strategies, identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, and lead negotiations to close deals successfully.
- Project Management: Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction from inception to completion, including participation in RFPs.
Requirements
While you may not meet all criteria, we believe these characteristics will help you succeed:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
- Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2).
- Proactive, organized, and able to build rapport and collaborate effectively internally and externally.
