About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Maverick team in Italy, focusing on Audio-Visual (AV) and collaboration solutions . This customer-facing, growth-driven role builds and develops strategic relationships with key customers and vendors, executes the go-to-market strategy, drives revenue growth across the portfolio, and serves as a trusted advisor.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and develop strong relationships with key customers and strategic vendors
  • Define and execute growth plans for your assigned portfolio
  • Drive sales activities, generate leads, and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Collaborate with vendors on campaigns, focus areas, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Support customers with commercial proposals and solution positioning
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational execution
  • Manage ad-hoc activities such as bids, tenders, pricing updates, and customer requests
  • Maintain a strong understanding of AV and collaboration market trends

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in IT, AV, or collaboration solutions
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships with customers and partners
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes
  • Analytical mindset with good understanding of numbers, margins, and forecastingProactive, structured, and results-oriented approach
  • Fluency in Italian and good level of English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Audio-Visual (AV) or collaboration vendors or technologies
  • Knowledge of quotation and order management systems
