Position Summary
This role, in collaboration with the EU market team, involves coordinating and leading sales activities in designated industries, mainly focusing on Rental and Staging LED product lines for rental projects, including corporate events, concerts, festivals, public events, broadcasting, and virtual applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for business development in assigned markets, focusing on opening new opportunities and generating leads to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify new accounts, develop relationships, and maintain existing customer relationships to expand sales.
- Forecast sales and set performance goals in coordination with the EU team.
- Establish annual industry business plans and target customer development strategies.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Travel regularly to engage with rental/production companies, consulting/design firms, creative agencies, and professionals, fostering the Absen brand and coordinating with distributors.
- Stay informed of new products and market trends relevant to customers.
- Gather and relay feedback from the field to HQ regarding products, marketing, sales, and services.
- Prepare monthly industry reports and quarterly updates.
- Manage communication with customers and HQ during project implementation.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Host customer visits to China HQ.
- Participate in marketing events, seminars, and trade shows.
- Coordinate with the EU sales team at HQ.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years in B2B sales & marketing or project management, preferably in the AV industry.
- Over 3 years’ experience with projects related to this role, including sales, marketing, or product management responsibilities.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Excellent client orientation, problem-solving, and product delivery skills.
- Ability to perform under high-pressure environments.
Language:
Fluent in written and spoken German, English, Dutch, or Italian.
Note: You need to be based in Italy and hold the relevant work permit if not a citizen of the country.
