Job Title: Business Development Manager - Flavours

Location: Italy

JBAndrews is currently working on behalf of a well-established European ingredients company who are seeking to hire a Business Development Manager for the flavours division. This role takes full responsibility for managing and developing the Italian market.


The organisation supports major food and beverage manufacturers, offering high-quality flavour solutions alongside strong technical and application expertise.


Position Summary:


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving B2B ingredient sales across Italy, with full ownership of an existing business portfolio.


This role focuses on ensuring business continuity, rebuilding relationships with existing customers, and identifying new growth opportunities within the flavours market. It offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to develop a business segment within a structured and supportive organisation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to maintain and grow revenue
  • Reconnect with existing and historical customers to ensure continuity of business
  • Identify and develop new accounts within food and beverage sectors
  • Build long-term customer partnerships and expand market presence
  • Provide technical and commercial support related to flavour applications
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to support customer development
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
  • Participate in trade shows and support supplier portfolio expansion initiatives


Qualifications:


  • Strong knowledge of the flavours or food ingredients market
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales within flavours, food ingredients, or adjacent sectors
  • Existing industry network or strong customer access within Italy
  • Proven ability to drive business development and manage client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously
