Role purpose


The candidate will join the VFA Business Performance team to measure and analyze key performance indicators, identify improvement areas, and drive innovation for greater efficiency. Responsibilities include delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making, aligning with stakeholders, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization. The role also involves maintaining SharePoint documentation and enhancing processes through execution and uncertainty reduction.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills : ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Self-drive and communication skills : the ability to influence teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and present findings persuasively.
  • Financial acumen : understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Business process knowledge : understanding of various business processes and how they impact performance.
  • Data analysis and reporting tools : Proficiency in using data analysis software and reporting tools.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in management engineering or economics, with a master’s degree being highly advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in relevant fields.
  • Expertise in data collection, analysis, and visualization utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (i.e. QlikSense) to identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps. Proficiency in Python can be highly valuable for tasks related to data analysis, automation, and reporting (manipulation and visualization). Gen-AI tools knowledge is also valued to foster data automation and intelligence.
  • Proficient understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting techniques to evaluate business performance and predict future outcomes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ability to monitor and analyze their performance over time.
  • Acquainted with BI tools for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data, and generating reports and dashboards to derive business insights.
  • Fluent in English
