Job Overview
The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company’s net profit contribution. This role is hybrid (onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month). This is a full‑time temporary contract – maternity cover. Responsibilities
Source, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market. Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions. Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range. Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return‑to‑supplier process. Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance. Qualifications
At least 2–3 years of experience as a home retail buyer. A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Expertise in “home textiles” is highly appreciated. Strong negotiation and sourcing skills. A proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams. Fluency in English and Italian. Salary & Benefits
