Overview
Our headquarters is located in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the former Lancia plant. IDV is a dedicated research and development hub with full access to the company’s engineering resources.
Role
We are looking for a motivated and results‑oriented Buyer to join our Customer Service (CS) team. The role focuses on strengthening purchasing activities and managing spare parts in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier scouting and market research to identify qualified partners and new opportunities.
- Manage orders in accordance with company purchasing procedures.
- Draft and review contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor the progress of assigned projects, ensuring timelines are met.
- Work closely with the Legal Department in the preparation of contracts for tenders and services.
- Prepare detailed analyses and presentations to support strategic decision‑making.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities and project status.
Required Qualifications — Essential
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and quality orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Availability for national and international travel.
- Direct experience in spare parts sales or management, with strong customer orientation.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in a modern industrial environment, even at entry level.
- Basic knowledge of project management and/or purchasing functions.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Familiarity with integrated management systems (SAP).
