Overview

Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism CMAAS (Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services) Management Level Intern/Trainee. The role supports clients through processes such as equity and debt issuance, acquisitions, mergers, carve‑outs, and complex financial history projects within the Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory segment of PwC.

Assist clients in listing processes in Italy or abroad, bond issuances, and other initiatives. Contribute to extraordinary transactions in structuring and preparation of accounting simulations. Support companies with complex financial histories in drafting carve‑out and pro‑forma financial statements. Resolve accounting technical issues, provide support in GAAP conversion (IFRS & US GAAP), analyze complex contracts, and measure impacts of new accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in the listing process in Italy or abroad and other initiatives such as bond issuances.
• Support the planning and execution of extraordinary transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, spin‑offs, mergers).
• Create accounting simulations and shared frameworks for transaction structuring.
• Assist companies with complex financial histories in drafting carve‑out and pro‑forma financial statements.
• Resolve complex accounting technical issues, support GAAP conversions (IFRS & US GAAP), analyze complex contracts, and quantify impacts of new accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Graduating or holding a Master degree in Economics, Administration & Finance, Corporate Finance, Accounting, International Business, Auditing, or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in data analysis and the transformation of data into insights that provide value to clients.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles is an advantage.
• Comfortable using Excel to aggregate and analyze data.
• Proactive, empathetic, versatile, and eager to take on challenges.
