Italy region is one of the strongest territories in the EMEA region for Milestone Systems, and the Channel Business Manager will have a key role in the development and management of this territory.
Role Tasks
Your main responsibility will be to deliver on the business objectives in your assigned territory. Using your expertise and knowledge in channel management and business development you will be growing and expanding the business with your channel partners (2‑tier) and local consultants. It will be your responsibility to prioritize your accounts and ensure that the business potential of the portfolio is maximized.
Your workplace is the Italy Office based in Cinisello Balsamo (MI) and you will be reporting to the Sales Director Italy and Iberia.
The role will also include:
- Promote and market Milestone System products and services within the assigned territory
- Building, driving, and deepening the relations with both Systems Integrators and Distributors
- Building, driving, and acting upon business plans with managed partners
- Engaging and working with local Consultants to drive specification
- Engaging and working with large end users to drive specification
- Reporting and documentation of activities in our CRM tools
- Participating in events, seminars, and exhibitions
- Be the key liaison for the territory, the rest of the organization and vice versa
- It is a requirement that you are an Italian resident, native Italian speaker, and fluent in English.
This role requires extensive travel in the territory and sometimes abroad to other Milestone offices.
Professional Qualifications
- Higher education preferably with commercial focus and exposure to technical fields
- Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in IT‑based, physical security industry sales
- Proven sales record and revenue growth driver skills in the North Italy area
- Competent IT technical skills
- Fundamental commercial and technical knowledge of IT‑based physical security software and/or hardware
- A goal‑oriented, sales focused and self‑confident profile
- Willingness to travel, work independently and closely monitor own goals
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to uphold organizational values and high moral standards
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Experience with Salesforce is an advantage. MS Office a must
