Crewlink, recruitment partner for a number of airline clients including Ryanair, is inviting expressions of interest for
Challenger 350-3500 Captain
roles in a 24/7 engineering support operation based in
Bergamo, Italy .
Although there are no active positions at present, candidates who register an expression of interest will be contacted if suitable roles become available. These are permanent positions with a fixed 4‑4 roster pattern that includes early and late (night) standby shifts.
Successful candidates can expect to earn up to
€133,400
p.a. (BGY) and will have the opportunity to fly to any of the 240+ destinations across the Ryanair Group Network. The type rating is provided at no upfront cost, subject to a three‑year training costs agreement.
Minimum Requirements
Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
Licence Type – Valid ATPL EASA or UK CAA issued Part FCL
Valid EASA (Part‑MED) or UK CAA issued Class 1 medical certificate
English language proficiency – minimum Operational Level (Level 4) with written proficiency at Operational level (ICAO Doc 9835)
Preference given to candidates who hold a valid Challenger 350/3500 rating
Minimum Hours
Captains: 3,000 total hours with at least 1,000 command hours in a multi‑crew, multi‑engine jet aircraft. Some turbo‑prop hours may be considered.
Assessment & Selection Candidates who are shortlisted will complete a simulator assessment on a B737 FFS. The selection procedure takes place in Dublin (Ireland) or other airline training centres. Flights on the Ryanair Group network are provided for the assessment day, which begins with an introduction to Ryanair and the recruitment team.
Candidate Expectations During Selection
Pre‑simulator briefing
Company presentation
Simulator assessment – 45 min as both pilot flying (PF) and pilot monitoring (PM). Basic handling skills, CRM and flight management are assessed.
Technical assessment – 30 min evaluating technical knowledge on current/previous aircraft type(s).
Personnel interview – approx. 30 min to demonstrate suitability and fit for a hard‑working environment.
Successful completion leads to an offer to join an upcoming training course.
Within 7 working days after the assessment day, applicants will be contacted by phone or e‑mail with their results.
