Chief Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is proud to exclusively partner with a global manufacturing business in its search for a Chief Accountant to handle and optimize all local Italian accounting processes.

This dynamic and rapidly expanding business offers a unique opportunity for an accounting professional to grow and take on increased responsibilities.

The role will suit a proactive and self-driven candidate with strong social skills and a technical mindset.

The main duties of the Chief Accountant are:

• Overseeing and managing the General Ledger (GL) accounting
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) postings
• Prepare management reports and consolidate financial statements
• Work on process improvement projects in accounting and company integration activity

The skills required for the Chief Accountant are:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in Accounting, AP, and AR
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP experience
• Fluency in Italian and English is essential for the role
• Based in Milan, happy commuting to their office outside of central Milan
