Chief Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is proud to exclusively partner with a global manufacturing business in its search for a Chief Accountant to handle and optimize all local Italian accounting processes.

This dynamic and rapidly expanding business offers a unique opportunity for an accounting professional to grow and take on increased responsibilities.

The role will suit a proactive and self-driven candidate with strong social skills and a technical mindset.

Main duties of the Chief Accountant include:

1. Overseeing and managing the General Ledger (GL) accounting
2. Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) postings
3. Preparing management reports and consolidating financial statements
4. Working on process improvement projects in accounting and company integration activities

Skills required for the Chief Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounting, AP, and AR
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Based in Milan, with willingness to commute to an office outside of central Milan
