Position
Chief Engineer (Turin office)
Responsibilities
- Manage project requirements during the definition phases based on contract and applicable regulations, development, flow‑down to systems and subsystems, transfer to suppliers through development specifications and management of qualification evidence in cooperation with responsible engineering and airworthiness entities; previous experience using DOORS is preferred.
- Coordinate aircraft qualification and certification activities in close contact with airworthiness and involved engineering entities; continuous interaction with civil and military authorities; previous experience in qualification/certification at aircraft or system level is preferred.
- Manage activities of defining and developing aircraft configurations for different clients, coordinating identification of required RMAs, compiling RMAs by involved engineering entities, presenting RMAs to program CCBs, monitoring RMA review activities and closing them at the end of qualification/certification activities.
- Monitor progress of development activities for general and avionic systems under engineering entities and with external suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and integrated planning of the AVBUP programme.
Education
Master's degree in STEM disciplines.
