We are looking for a special person to fill a non-traditional Chief of Staff position.

In this full-time position based in Milan, you will accompany J.J. Martin through every aspect of her multi-dimensional role in the company: Founder, Co-CEO, Chief Creative Officer (CCO), and Chief Spiritual Officer. This role requires navigating both creative and operational spheres: possessing emotional intelligence, intuition, and a love for creativity, alongside strong organizational and process management skills. You will be the executive manager of the CCO's office, where speed, efficiency, and problem-solving are highly valued. Your impact will be significant as you assist JJ with daily strategy, drive the execution of her creative and business teams, and expand the brand's 360-degree influence.

  • Right Brain: Emotionally & intuitively intelligent, sensitive to group dynamics, a kind yet firm communicator, with an understanding of the Fashion & Design worlds. Spiritual/Energy practice is a plus.
  • Left Brain: Highly organized, skilled in building structure and efficiency, analytical, and calm under pressure.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of transforming complexity into clarity and solving problems deftly.
  • Super Organized: Enthusiastic about systems, processes, managing calendars, and completing checklists; committed to operational excellence.
  • Strong Communicator: Confident in speaking up, with clear and effective writing and speaking skills in English; Italian is helpful.

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Business and Creative Meetings: Strategize meeting content and objectives, create agendas and materials, clarify next steps, and assist the CCO in follow-up actions.
  2. Holder of the Master Calendar: Coordinate with SMT and JJ’s PA to ensure alignment, flexibility, and strategic planning, managing schedule changes pragmatically.
  3. Special Projects: Manage new initiatives or company development projects, acting as liaison and strategist for process setup and team coordination.
  4. Teams: Co-captain and motivator, monitoring team needs and fostering efficiencies and alignment across departments.
  5. Ambassador: Represent the CCO when traveling or unavailable, embodying the brand values.
  6. First Line Communication: Facilitate inquiries and follow-ups related to business opportunities and partnerships.
  7. Deadline Manager and Executor: Maintain checklists and prioritize tasks with the CCO and SMT to ensure timely execution.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

10-15 years of proven experience managing people, tasks, and structures; demonstrating organizational skills, multi-tasking, calmness under pressure, and clear communication. Show us how you've balanced diverse projects and worn many hats effectively.
