Civil Engineer

The simplicity of the process as well as the use of readily available off-the-shelf equipments opens the way for Energy Dome to quickly become an important player in the energy storage market.

Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and we are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of civil and structural works supporting innovative energy storage technologies, within a highly dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural modeling and analysis using advanced software such as MIDAS / STAAD and/or Tekla Structures.
• Development of structural calculation models and design verification in accordance with international codes and standards.
• Active involvement in R&D (Research & Development) activities, including the evaluation of innovative structural solutions and design optimization.
• Review and verification of structural calculations produced by contractors and suppliers, including assessment of design assumptions, FEM models, and results.
• Collaboration with internal teams (process, mechanical, construction) and coordination with external consultants
• Technical support during detailed engineering phases and, when required, during construction activities.
• Technical support during BID stage for preliminary quantities evaluation of the project in accordance to local requirement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural specialization preferred)
• At least 2-5 years of professional experience in structural engineering, preferably in industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of FEM models
• Proven experience in reviewing and validating third-party structural calculations
• Good knowledge of structural design standards (Eurocodes, American standards)
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and technical autonomy
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-evolving environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in energy, industrial plants, or oil & gas projects
• Familiarity with nonlinear, dynamic, or staged construction analyses
• Previous involvement in civil and structural design
• Availability for occasional site visits
